A tool which can be used to do common tasks, which Microsoft Content Management Server API provides

 

Find and Replace

 

Finding and replacing a content of a placeholder in a posting in a huge site is not a simple task. Using MCMS Manager it can be done very easily. When we select the find and replace form the channel pop up menu, it will give a window where we can specify the search text (Figure I).

Before replacing the postings can be searched and found. After that the necessary postings can be selected form the view and replaced with the content (Figure II). Also the postings can be submitted/approved after content replacement.
